MALUMA
RELEASES HIS NEW SINGLE & VIDEO

“HAWÁI”

MIAMI, Florida (July 29, 2020). Global Latin music idol MALUMA has just released his hot new single “HAWÁI” along with its music video.

The melodious banger written by Maluma, Keityn, Edgar Barrera and Bull Nene, was produced by Rude Boyz. It tells the classic tale of a relationship breakup set in the modern Instagram age, where the story one tells and the pictures one posts can be deceiving.

The music video for “HAWÁI” is a drama-filled mini-movie, shot in Miami by renown director Jessy Terrero of Cinema Giants, with a storyline written by Maluma himself that takes him through a rollercoaster of situations and emotions in the dramatic aftermath of the end of a relationship. Of course, as in any work of fiction, any similarity to actual persons, places or events, is purely coincidental.

Stream or download “HAWÁI” by clicking HERE and watch the video HERE.

“HAWÁI” is part of Maluma’s upcoming album Papi Juancho dropping later this year.

ROMBAI RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “Te Extraño :(”

ROMBAI RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “Te Extraño :(”

MIAMI (July 10, 2020) – Today, Rombai adds to its colorful urban-cumbia canon with the single “Te Extraño :(” (I Miss You). This song is available starting 7 p.m. ET, July 9, from all digital-music outlets, and the music video can be enjoyed on Rombai’s YouTube channel.

Interestingly, the words “te extraño” never appear in the lyrics. However, the title’s feeling can be felt throughout this song, which uses rhythm to send a heartfelt message and express the emotions that people all over the world are experiencing in these times. Written by Nicolás “Kony” González and Laureano “Dime Lauro” Pardo and produced by Fermazel, vocalist Fer Vázquez goes into vivid detail about how he longs to be reunited with his partner: “Yo tengo una obsesión con tu cuello y con tu olor, no puedo dejar de pensarte” (I’m obsessed with your neck and your scent, I can’t stop thinking about you.)

Fer emphasizes that though the lyrics are romantic, the feeling of missing someone during pandemic-induced lockdowns applies to a wide variety of relationships: “This song reflects the challenges that we are currently facing just to enjoy time with our closest loved ones. We can’t give hugs, we can’t greet with a kiss, we can’t have the physical contact that is culturally important to us to communicate love. These changes have taken a toll. So ‘Te Extraño :(’ is a sincere song that I’m releasing from the heart for all the people who we miss. It could be someone far away or even near who we still can’t connect with the way we would like to. I hope you like the song as much as I do and you enjoy it; it was made with love.”

On the music video, directed by Ignacio Seijo and Maxi Muñíz, Fer and his dancers are warmly dressed for the winter in their native Uruguay, as they show off their moves for an early-morning outdoor shoot at a wind farm. Fer’s charisma, street fashion and energy are on full display, to the delight of Rombai’s multitudes of fans.

In the days leading up to the release of “Te Extraño :(”Rombai has generated buzz for this single with a series of Instagram stories that reference the song’s title and encourage fans to open up about who they’re missing during these times.

“Te Extraño :(” follows in the footsteps of Rombai’s previous single “Te Va Doler” (It’s Going to Hurt You), which was released in May and has surpassed 7 million views with its adorable “dog dad” scenes and its message about pet adoption.

With “Te Extraño :(”, Rombai gives us a captivating way to reach out to our loved ones by dedicating them an “I miss you,” as we share hope for face-to-face reunions in the near future.

About ROMBAI:

The Uruguay native Fernando “Fer” Vázquez is the lead vocalist, songwriter and producer of Rombai. Founded in 2013, it signed with Sony Music Latin and management company WK Entertainment in 2018. Rombai burst onto the international Latin charts with its first Sony single, “Me Voy,” which has surpassed 147 million YouTube views and 55 million Spotify streams. The release of “Me Voy (Remix)” featuring Abraham Mateo and Reykon gave this song renewed momentum. “Me Voy” went RIAA-certified Gold in the United States and Puerto Rico, Triple Platinum in Chile, and Platinum in Argentina, Uruguay and Peru. Major streaming services have eagerly added Rombai to their curated playlists, and the group recently appeared on the cover of Spotify’s “Esto Es Cumbia” list. Their second single “2 Pa’ 2” has over 48 million YouTube views and 30 million audio streams. It made the Spotify Top 50 in Uruguay, Bolivia and Ecuador. In 2019, Rombai was nominated at Los Premios HEAT for Best Artist (South), and at Premios Juventud for The New Urban Generation. In addition, Billboard named the group to its 10 Latin Artists To Watch in 2019 on the heels of its 2018 breakout. Rombai describes its style as cumbia-urbana.

The singer-songwriter received the ASCAP Latin Music Award for his song
“VIVIR BAILANDO” alongside Maluma

MIAMI, FL – July 7th, 2020- There’s no better gift than receiving compliments and applauses for these great songs. Today Silvestre Dangond enjoys once again an important recognition for his music in the annual edition of the ASCAP Latin Music Awards, that was celebrated virtually today.

“I enjoyed creating this song because I never thought that Maluma would collaborate with me. When we wrote this song I felt as if Colombia was inside of my heart, I felt rhythms, I felt folklore and combining it with urban music created a very interesting mix; this is why I ended up doing two versions of the song. I thank Maluma, Andres Castro, Sony Latin, Edgar and all the team that supports me every time that we write and create beautiful songs, like this one. ASCAP Awards once again thank you for taking into consideration the talent; I’ll always be thankful”  added Silvestre Dangond.

The Colombian singer was awarded the ASCAP Latin Music Award for composition of the song Vivir Bailando alongside Maluma, a catchy song that blends all the traditional rhythm of vallenato and a touch of urban.

Both artists are at the peak of their powers, delighting the world with their unique and danceable styles. “Vivir Bailando” is co-written by Andrés Castro, Edgar Barrera, Daniel Buitrago and Sharo Torres along with Silvestre and Maluma. Showing off each singer’s respective gift – tropical and urban – this unique track blends their voices and their artistry into a memorable collaboration.

Starting today at 10:30 AM ET and concluding July 9, exclusive photos and videos from Latin music’s top stars, songwriters, producers and publishers will be revealed throughout the day via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook on @ASCAPLatino and @ASCAP with the hashtags #ElPremioASCAP and #ASCAPAwards

Our DSCVR program is all about leading music lovers to the next wave of upcoming artists. True to our promise, we’d like you to spend time with the music of Emilia Mernes. Somehow the 22-year-old fashionista also finds time to make sweet urbano jams, too. When “Recalienta” and “No Soy Yo,” a dembow duet with Darrell, hit in 2019, they immediately racked up mega numbers. And what’s not love? Emilia is a fetching star with crazy pop potential a la Becky G and Tini. In the DSCVR studio, the singer brought the heat and, surprise, debuted a new track, “No Más,” exclusively for Vevo. That performance, and its mate “Policia,” are real convincers. Make room on your playlist for a thrilling newcomer.

BY POPULAR DEMAND MALUMA RELEASES “ADMV” URBAN VERSION & ITS NEW VIDEO

MIAMI, Florida (May 15, 2020). The beloved ballad of the moment “ADMV” now has a new version, “ADMV” Urban Version, which Global Latin music idol MALUMA releases today along with its brand new music video, shot in Greece, right before having to postpone his 11:11 World Tour because of the global pandemic COVID-19.

The initial plan for the “ADMV” video was to record it entirely in Greece with director Nuno Gomez but having to  quickly leave Europe due to the pandemic, they had only captured a portion of the video, the performance of the song, Upon arrival in Miami, Gomez recorded an entirely different video for the original version of the ballad. A month later, and in response to multiple requests from fans who were left wanting to see the idol singing the song in Athens, Greece, the artist decided to release the footage in the video for the urban version of “ADMV”, also directed by Nuno Gomez.

To listen to “ADMV” Urban Version click HERE and to watch the new music video press HERE.

The name the song stands for “Amor De Mi Vida” which means “Love Of My Life” and it was born in the heart of the artist.

This song is very special for me, this is something that comes from the heart, it has made me realize the reason I started my career and it makes me think about what will happen in the future – if we are going to take the time to love one another, hug one another – Today I release it so that we can dedicate it to all the people we love before they are gone, expressed Maluma.

It was written on a January songwriting trip to Jamaica by Maluma, Edgar Barrera, Vicente Barco and Miky La Sensa; and was produced by Barrera and Maluma

The lyrics say (in Spanish): ”When our memory fails and only the photographs remain, may I forget everything except that you are mine, when the years weigh on us and our legs can no longer walk, our eyes close and our skin doesn’t stretch anymore, when the only thing that matters is what we did in life, and even if none of this happens, you are the love of my life.

Maluma recently became the first and only male Latin artist to reach 50 million followers on Instagram.

ROMBAI Drops New Single And Video “TE VA DOLER”

Featuring A Quarantine And Pet-Themed Video Filmed At Home

MIAMI (May 4, 2020) – Rombai continues to delight us with its catchy urban cumbias. For its latest music video “Te Va Doler” (It’s Going To Hurt You), Rombai uses its platform to show solidarity during the quarantine and raise awareness of responsible pet adoption. Serving a worthy cause, the video of “Te Va Doler” concludes with an appeal for pet adoption via the nonprofit site proyecto4patas.org.

The audio of “Te Va Doler” is available now from all digital-music outlets, while the music video can be enjoyed on Rombai’s YouTube channel.

Fer Vázquez, the Uruguayan founder of Rombai, realized the hit potential of “Te Va Doler” from the beginning. “It’s one of my favorite songs from these recent sessions. Ever since the first day we started working on it in the studio, it made me dance and shout. Filming the video at my place in a homemade style makes me feel very authentic. It takes me back to my earliest videos which were very well received. The natural vibe is palpable. I hope you like it as much as I do, and that soon we’ll be performing live again and you can sing it with me. God willing, this negative situation will pass as soon as possible. I think it’s teaching us a great lesson.”

And just as Fer says, the lyrics are the perfect refrain for anyone who’s ever experienced a romantic disappointment: “Cuando me veas con otra, te va a doler” (when you see me with another woman, it’s going to hurt you).

Te Va Doler” was produced remotely by Fer in Uruguay, along with with Rafael Rodríguez and Douglas “DowG” Muñóz Ruíz working in Miami.

In the video, Fer invites us to peek in as he keeps himself entertained during the quarantine by playing soccer in his back yard, learning to cook some new dishes, working on his music, and more. Keeping him company is his adorable dog, whose presence reminds us of Rombai’s 2018 hit “Me Voy” (I’m Leaving), which has over 144 million views on YouTube and features the memorable line “Cuánto más conozco el amor, más quiero a mi perro” (The more I know about love, the more I love my dog).

Te Va Doler” proves that a song about pain can still make us feel good and even get us to dance our troubles away.

About ROMBAI:
The Uruguay native Fernando “Fer” Vázquez is the lead vocalist, songwriter and producer of Rombai. Founded in 2013, it signed with Sony Music Latin and management company WK Entertainment in 2018. Rombai burst onto the international Latin charts with its first Sony single, “Me Voy,” which has surpassed 144 million YouTube views and 55 million Spotify streams. Their second single “2 Pa’ 2” has over 46 million YouTube views and 30 million audio streams. It made the Spotify Top 50 in Uru-guay, Bolivia and Ecuador.
