Upon release, the song and video shot up the YouTube Trends charts all over Latin America and receive praise from media including Rolling StoneBillboardPeople and V Magazine, among others. Additionally, the video has since surpassed over 7 million views in just 1 week, as well as caught the attention of NKOTB members, saying that CNCO “has got the right stuff.”

CNCO is set to make the debut performance of “Tan Enamorados” on the 94th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade next Thursday, November 26th, live from New York City.

CARLOS RIVERA & MALUMA TEAM UP ON THE HEARTFELT SINGLE AND VIDEO “100 AÑOS”

CARLOS RIVERA & MALUMA TEAM UP ON THE HEARTFELT SINGLE AND VIDEO “100 AÑOS”

MIAMI (November 19, 2020) – Mexico’s most beloved contemporary-pop singer, Carlos Rivera, joins forces with the Colombian superstar Maluma to give life to “100 Años, their surprising mariachi-themed collaboration. This single is available from all digital-music outlets, and the music video can be enjoyed on Carlos’ YouTube channel.

No one expected a team-up between these two young talents, and certainly not a ranchera song. But the chemistry and brotherhood that unite Carlos Rivera and Maluma gave them the power to break geographical and musical barriers.

Due to the pandemic, each singer was required to record his audio and video separately – Carlos in Mexico City and Maluma in Miami. But in spite of the distance, the artists could send greetings and give a toast to their friendship, showing the mutual affection that they have for each other’s culture on this video directed by Anita Tillero and Clara Pablo.

Both singers are backed by mariachi, as they pour all of their sentiment into this heartbreaking song written by Carlos Rivera, Maluma, Édgar Barrera and Vicente Barco. As the lyrics say, “aunque digan que no hay mal que duró más de 100 años, no quisieras ser el primer idiota en comprobarlo, un amor como el nuestro sabes que no se ve a diario, un amor como el nuestro vale la pena salvarlo” (though it’s said that nothing bad lasts 100 years, you wouldn’t want to be the first idiot to be the exception. A love like ours doesn’t come along every day, a love like ours is worth saving).

This powerful duet joins Carlos’ long list of spectacular achievements in 2020. He started the year with his chart-topping single “Perdiendo La Cabeza” (Losing My Head), which features cutting-edge Latin rhythms. He also released the keepsake Sessions Recorded At Abbey Road on vinyl. Shortly thereafter, he used the time during lockdown to record the critically acclaimed acoustic-covers EP Si Fuera Mía (If It Was Mine).

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 19, Carlos will serve for the first time as co-host of the Latin GRAMMY® ceremony, now in its 21st annual edition.

Meanwhile, Maluma’s smash single “ADMV” is nominated for Song of the Year, and his recent single “Hawái Remix” with The Weeknd has surpassed 43 million views in less than two weeks.

Without a doubt, fans of both artists will embrace “100 Años” as Carlos Rivera and Maluma do justice to their extraordinary talent and charisma.

MALUMA SCORES HIS NINETEENTH BILLBOARD LATIN AIRPLAY #1 ONLY 5 YEARS AFTER EARNING HIS FIRST #1 ON THE CHART

MALUMA SCORES HIS NINETEENTH BILLBOARD LATIN AIRPLAY #1 ONLY 5 YEARS AFTER EARNING HIS FIRST #1 ON THE CHART

HE CURRENTLY HAS THREE SONGS ON THE BILLBOARD LATIN AIRPLAY TOP TEN:
#1 FEEL THE BEAT (with Black Eyed Peas)
#2 HAWÁI
#8 PA TI (with Jennifer Lopez)

This marks the second time the artist holds the #1 & #2 on the Latin Airplay Chart

“HAWÁI” has been at #1 for multiple weeks on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs, Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Airplay charts

MIAMI, Florida (November 9, 2020). Global Latin music idol MALUMA has scored his nineteenth #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay Chart with “Feel the Beat” his collab with the Black Eyed Peas. With “HAWÁI” at #2 and “Pa Ti” (with Jennifer Lopez) at #8, Maluma has three songs on the chart’s top ten and for a second time, the young artist has the #1 and #2 songs on the Billboard chart (his first time achieving this was in 2017 with “Sin Contrato” at #1 and “Chantaje” at #2).

All of this has happened in a very short time for the twenty-six year old who earned his first Billboard Latin Airplay #1 only five years ago, on November 21, 2015 with “Borró Cassette”.

With this #1, Maluma also dethrones his own hit “HAWÁI” from the chart’s top spot. “HAWÁI” has dominated Latin and global charts since its release. It has remained at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart for eight weeks; #1 on Billboard’s Latin Streaming Songs chart for nine weeks; and #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart for three weeks (having scored his eighteenth #1 song on the chart). With “HAWÁI” Maluma has been at #1 on YouTube’s chart of the most viewed videos worldwide for multiple weeks and remains on the chart’s top ten.
He has also reached #1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and #2 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart. Internationally “HAWÁI” has reached #1 on radio, Spotify and Apple Music in 17+ countries.

Last week Maluma and The Weeknd released a one-of-a-kind remix of the global hit, along with its new music video via Sony Music Latin/RCA Records. Both are available now! To stream/download “HAWÁI” Remix click HERE and to watch the video click HERE.

The Weeknd’s signature vocals go bilingual (English/Spanish) on the “HAWAÍ” Remix marking the first time the GRAMMY Award-winning artist sings in Spanish.

In its very first week out, “HAWÁI” Remix is already #1 on the Urban Radio in his native Colombia.

Last night, Maluma took over with his first MTV EMA performance in an intimate conceptual setting and lighting influenced by his album, Papi Juancho. Maluma opened with international hit “DJADJA” with French superstar Aya Nakamura, who performed from France, marking the first time both artists performed their smash hit live on television. Maluma then jumped into his global record-breaking hit, “HAWÁI” ending with dancers and a picturesque balcony scene overlooking the city of Miami. To watch it now click HERE.

MALUMA & THE WEEKND UNITE TO RELEASE “HAWÁI” REMIX & ITS MUSIC VIDEO

MALUMA & THE WEEKND UNITE TO RELEASE “HAWÁI” REMIX & ITS MUSIC VIDEO

The Weeknd sings in both Spanish & English for the very first time

“HAWÁI” has been at #1 for multiple weeks on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs, Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Airplay charts

MIAMI, Florida (November 5, 2020). MALUMA and THE WEEKND have joined forces to release a one-of-a-kind remix of global hit “HAWÁI”, along with its new music video via Sony Music Latin/RCA Records.

“I have always admired The Weeknd so it feels nothing short of a dream come true to have him collab on ‘HAWÁI’ Remix – he brought another flow to it and sang in both Spanish and English which is impressive,” expressed Maluma.

The melodious banger written by Maluma, The Weeknd, Keityn, Edgar Barrera and Bull Nene, was produced by the Rude Boyz. It tells the classic tale of a relationship breakup set in the modern Instagram age, where the story one tells and the pictures one posts can be deceiving.

Like with the original “HAWÁI”, the remix video, was shot by renowned director Jessy Terrero of Cinema Giants; but this time, instead of Miami, it took place in Los Angeles and features both artists.

The twenty-six year old global Latin music idol has also reached #1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and #2 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart. Internationally “HAWÁI” has reached #1 on radio, Spotify and Apple Music in 17+ countries.
