LOS ANGELES, California (20 de noviembre de 2019). El ídolo global de la música latina MALUMA ha sido nominado al GRAMMY en la categoría Mejor Álbum Latino por su cuarto álbum 11:11 según lo anunció esta mañana la Academia de la Grabación. Esta es la primera nominación al GRAMMY para el artista que ganó el Latin GRAMMY al Mejor Álbum Vocal Pop Contemporáneo en 2018 por su álbum F.A.M.E.

La producción discográfica que incluye colaboraciones con estrellas como Ricky Martin, Madonna, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Ty Dolla $ign, Zion y Lennox, Sech, Chencho y Farina, debutó en el #1 del listado Hot Latin Albums de Billboard. La musa para la creación de 11:11 le llegó a Maluma a principios de este año cuando se tomó un tiempo libre fuera de los escenarios. En vez de descansar como había previsto, no cesó de crear junto al productor y compositor Edgar Barrera con quien también colaboró en F.A.M.E., y el resultado es un álbum que refleja la evolución de Juan Luis Londoño como artista con un repertorio de música que es urbana, positiva, divertida y empoderadora. Junto a Maluma, los productores del álbum incluyen a Edgar Barrera, MadMusick, Tainy, Andrés Castro y Sergio George. Los co-compositores de Maluma en 11:11 incluyen Servando Primera, Mambo Kings, Vicente Barco y Luian Malavé Nieves, entre otros.

La 62a Entrega Anual de los premios GRAMMY tendrá lugar en Los Ángeles el domingo 26 de enero de 2020 en el STAPLES Center y se transmitirá en vivo por la cadena CBS a las 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m.

Actualmente Maluma es #1 en el listado Latin Airplay de Billboard con “11 PM” que se desprende de 11:11, anotándose su decimocuarto #1 en la radio latina de Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico. “11 PM” también es #1 en los listados de Billboard Latin Rhythm y Latin Pop. Asimismo, su colaboración con J Balvin “Que Pena” fue #1 por dos semanas consecutivas en Colombia así como #1 en Chile entre otros países.

Recientemente Maluma cerró su gira norteamericana del 11:11 World Tour en la cual llenó todos los recintos donde se presentó incluyendo sold outs por segundo año consecutivo en dos The Forum en Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden en Nueva York y AmericanAirlines Arena en Miami.

Su gira continúa con conciertos en noviembre y diciembre 2019 por territorio Azteca, además de en Arabia Saudita y Qatar. En México, visitará Mérida, Los Cabos, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, y Ciudad de México. En Diriyah, Arabia Saudita presentará su magno espectáculo el 23 de noviembre en el Diriyah Music Festival y el 16 de diciembre llevará su concierto a la capital de Qatar, Doha, donde se presentará en el Doha Exhibition Conference Center como parte de Qatar Live. Entre los artistas que presentarán sus conciertos las demás noches del Qatar Live están Katy Perry y Maroon 5.

Su 2020 MALUMA World Tour, abre con una gira de veintitrés ciudades por Europa, Turquía y en Emiratos Árabes Unidos del 14 de febrero al 2 de abril, incluyendo Dubai, Estambul, Helsinki, Oslo, Estocolmo, Bratislava, Praga, Krakow, Liubliana, Munich, Stuttgart, Milan, Atenas, Thessaloniki, Amsterdam, Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxemburgo, Amberes, Barcelona, Madrid y Londres.

LOS ANGELES, California (November 20, 2019). Global Latin music idol MALUMA has been nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Best Latin Album category for his fourth album 11:11 as announced this morning by the Recording Academy. This is the first GRAMMY nomination for the artist who won the Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album in 2018 for his album F.A.M.E.

The album, which includes collabs with stars such as Ricky Martin, Madonna, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Ty Dolla $ign, Zion y Lennox, Sech, Chencho and Farina, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Albums chart. The muse for 11:11 came to Maluma earlier this year as he took some time off from touring. Instead of resting, he worked non-stop alongside producer and composer Edgar Barrera with whom he also collaborated on F.A.M.E., and the result is an album that reflects the evolution of Juan Luis Londoño as an artist, with a body of music that is urban, positive, fun and empowering. Alongside Maluma, the producers of the album include Edgar Barrera, MadMusick, Tainy, Andrés Castro, and Sergio George. Some of Maluma’s co-writers include Servando Primera, Mambo Kings, Vicente Barco and Luian Malavé Nieves.

The 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at the STAPLES Center and will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m.

Maluma is currently #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart with “11 PM” (off his 11:11 album), marking his fourteenth #1 on United States Latin & Puerto Rico radio. “11 PM” also tops the Billboard Latin Rhythm and Latin Pop charts at #1. Maluma’s latest single, his collab with J Balvin “Que Pena”, was #1 for two consecutive weeks in Colombia as well as #1 in Chile, among other countries.

Maluma recently closed the North American leg of his 11:11 World Tour where he jam-packed every single one of his concerts which included sold outs for a second year in a row at two The Forums in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York and AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.

His tour continues with concerts in November and December 2019 in Mexico, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. In Mexico, he will make stops in Merida, Los Cabos, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, and Mexico City. In Diriyah, Saudi Arabia he will headline the two-day Diriyah Music Festival on November 23rd and on December 16, he takes his 11:11 concert to Doha, Qatar’s Doha Exhibition Conference Center as part of Qatar Live.
