SURPRISES FANS WITH A RELAUNCH OF HIS ICONIC ALBUM “MÁS UNIDOS QUE SIEMPRE”

Miami, Fl – September 26, 2020 – Silvestre Dangond & Juancho de la Espriella’s album “Más Unidos Que Siempre” was released in 2004, with such cementing songs in Silvestre’s musical career as “A Blanco y Negro”, “La Colegiala”, “El Vaivén”, “Cautivo Mi Canto “, among other hits. “Más Unidos Que Siempre” marked a musical milestone in the Colombian vallenato, being one of the best-selling albums in the history of the genre and for Silvestre Dangond.

Now, 16 years later and keeping the care for the global pandemic as a family, the vallenato artist decided to please his fans by sharing the relaunch of this album that brings new and unique musical arrangements, and arrives completely remastered without losing its natural essence: Silvestre Dangond’s voice and Juancho de la Espriella’s accordion. The launch was made through all digital platforms this past Friday, September 25.

“Más Unidos Que Siempre” was initially produced by Robert Meza -RIP- and, in this edition, by Lucho Ortega who sought to give it a new sound, re-recording some of the most relevant instruments such as keyboard, guitar and percussions and maintaining the sonic essence of the album that made Colombia fall in love and positioned Silvestre as the most important exponent of the new wave of vallenato.

“Más Unidos Que Siempre- BETA16”, is the official name of the re-release, referring to the Beta as “Two or 2nd” and 16 for the years it’s been since the album was originally released. It was a tough production task for Silvestre Dangond and Lucho Ortega because, as Silvestre himself states, “bringing the production, the sound of what was recorded at that time to today’s technology and maintain the essence of an album that was so popular, is the challenge. I didn’t want to change the album from what people fell in love with, but I did want it to sound better. “

“Más Unidos Que Siempre- BETA16” comes as a gift that Silvestre gives to his followers to reaffirm the confidence and strength even in times of confinement.
