Before kicking off the new era, CNCO went back in the studio for the first time as a 4 piece to find their new sound. The group hopped in the studio with legendary reggaeton star Wisin, who most recently had his #1 hit “Fiel,” that was the top Latin song in the world for 6 consecutive weeks. “Toa La Noche” was born out of their time in Puerto Rico at Wisin’s La Base studios, written by the group and Wisin, alongside Christian Linares, José Cotto, Jean Rodríguez, and Los Legendarios, who also produced the track.
CNCO will be back on the road for a 16 date U.S. club tour, set to kick off later this month on August 19th in Austin, Texas and wrapping on September 18th in Tampa, Florida. Tickets are on sale HERE.
With over 3 billion streams, 6.5 billion YouTube views, sold out shows on multiple continents, two multiplatinum #1 debuts on the Billboard Top Latin Albums Chart, and dozens of gold and platinum certifications across the globe, CNCO have sealed their status as one of the biggest acts on the planet. Not to mention, they’ve achieved nine Latin American Music Awards, six Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), four Billboard Latin Music Awards, three Premio Lo Nuestro, three Premios Tu Mundo (Your World Awards), two iHeartRadio Music Awards, three Teen Choice Awards, and a Kids Choice Award. In addition, they received a Latin GRAMMY®️ Award nod.
During 2019, their mainstream crossover accelerated at lightspeed as the boys took the stage on Good Morning America and at the Teen Choice Awards. Attracting critical acclaim, People Magazine crowned them among its “Ones to Watch,” and Rolling Stone dubbed them a “Breaking” artist. CNCO even made history as the first Latin talent to headline Vevo LIFT and MTV Push campaigns. Popping off in 2020, the group lit up the stage at the MTV VMA and took home the honor for “Best Quarantine Performance,” facing off stiff competition from none other than Post Malone and Lady Gaga.
On their 2020 third full-length, CNCO recharge, revisit, and revitalize 12 classics from the Latin music songbook. The multiplatinum Latin GRAMMY®️-nominated quintet—Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel De Jesús—put their own spin on three decades of anthems. By doing so, they stretch their signature sound into new territory and amplify their voices louder than ever.
